Peter serves as special consultant to Maguire Associates in the United Kingdom. He is an expert on student engagement, retention, and achievement as well as educational marketing in the post-secondary education sector. Peter has been influential in the development of educational policy and has published widely on a range of issues, including marketing and governance. He was instrumental in setting up the College Marketing Network and was a member of its steering committee from its inception in 1987 until 2006. He is a member of The Policy Consortium, providing briefing services on educational policy issues. His consulting work has taken him to several European countries, the United States, Bahrain, Bangladesh, and Nigeria in addition to the UK. Peter holds a B.A. in Economics and History from Cambridge University and M.Sc. in Administrative Sciences from City University in London.
